Just when the holidays were over, gifts rolled down to the south of Negros Oriental.
On the 18th of January, we visited our project at iRC Valencia together with our partners from The Shoebox Project. It was such a fulfilling morning to have blessed shoeboxes filled with surprises to 70 children from the community of Balayag Manok.
iRC Valencia is especially unique for having a preschool giving free Montessori education to children living within the community. In partnership with Bless Curriculum, they are able to do more with the students. All this would not be possible without our Project Director, Pastor Romel Legarde and wife, Jane Legarde, who have whole heartedly put all they have in this ministry. Jane exchanged her life of a well-paid educator to a fulfilling opportunity to teach unprivileged children and change their lives forever.
Now with three beautiful children, the Legarde's continue to transform lives and transform communities in every thing they do.
